T-Rex is the main character of Dinosaur Comics. He is about 25 years old and is a large green Tyrannosaurus Rex. In the future, he is destined to punch out a turkey. He enjoys stomping, philosophy and rampant anachronism. He is enthusiastic about ideas, but may pursue them rashly without thinking them out fully -- unlike Utahraptor, who may be prone to overthink or overcriticize ideas .

Utahraptor claims to have had a gay relationship with T-Rex when they were roommates, but T-Rex does not recall this. However, Utahraptor knows that it's green.

T-Rex and Dromiceiomimus have been on some dates and had Dinosaur Sex, while playing Scrabble.

T-Rex stomps the Tiny Woman daily.

T-Rex has frequent conversations with both God and the Devil, neither of whom are heard or spoken to by the other characters.

Morris, the tiny bug, lives on T-Rex's nose.

T-Rex once babysat a Pterodactyl's baby; it is unlikely that he will be invited to repeat this activity, since he lost it (the baby.)

T-Rex enjoys sandwiches.

T-Rex's alter-ego, Evil T-Rex, is not really that different aside from a love of atrocious puns and an evil-looking goatee.

T-Rex justifies his destruction using science, much to Professor Science's presumable dismay.

T-Rex is neighbours with some raccoons and cephalopods.
